I ordered 3 books. 2 are manga (comics) and 1 is a novel.

Recently I came to like the manga “Hetalia” very much. It’s something about world history… always hilarious. I’ve been reading the online translated version but as I vowed to practice more Japanese, I decided to get the book as well. As for the Slayers book, it’s a novel. I used to be a big Slayers fan back then but I was hardly able to buy any books from them. However, I don’t think this novel I bought is the original version because the artwork is waaaayyy more cute than the original, and the text looks quite simple… perhaps this is an abridged version? But that’s OK as well!

Because, all those Kanji Characters have their readings inscribed as Yomigana as well!

Well, yesterday I went to China with Jenny. I just went to the border city called "GongBei" and whenever I say I went to GongBei, it usually means I went to the "Underground Shopping Mall". Today was no different, underground mall did I go to. We had lunch at a Japanese place. It was terrible. The noodles was bad, the condiments were bad, the Green Tea Milk Shake was totally hell… Totally made me quite suicidal. Also saw alot of bling-blings and decorative stuff for mobile phones. I really wanted to buy some but in the end decided not do, since the phone is still not officially mine yet. But, I bought shoes! 2 pairs too! Lookie look!

After buying these shoes, we went for manicure and pedicure, but I didn’t put any polish or varnish on. The lady that did my pedicure asked if we wanted to have our legs depilated… in Chinese style depilation. Never having heard what the hect that is, we agreed. So, they use strings to somehow twirl into a triangle thing (using both hands and mouth to hold onto the 3 corners) and then, mimicking the scissors theory, snap~! Honestly… IT HURT LIKE HELL!!!!! but my legs are now shining… hahaha…

Feeling tired after all that ordeal, we returned to Macau… but made a detour to the Central area for the locally famed Waffles… yummy! As we chatted and walked through the side street, we saw a boutique and of course bought some stuff as well. I present to you, photos!

As my Sis liked the one on the left as well, I have to go buy another one for her, but in red.

And I’m tired! Time for bed!

  1. Hello, I am a Japanese resident living in Tokyo. I am 25-year woman.
You used to live in China, right?
How did you learn that good English?
I now want to start a blog written in English so I am looking for somebody who can correct my English mistakes. Actually I had stayed in the U.S. for 2 years when I was in highschool, but now I don’t have any chance to speak English anymore and my English is getting worse. If you can help me with it, I will teach you a perfect Japanese, instead. I will correct your mistakes in your blog, too if you want. If you are interest in it, please email me. Thank you.
